How can I bring purpose into sport?
Choose one character practice alongside your performance goal. Work with attention, encourage someone, and review how you responded when the session became difficult.
Set one intention
Before your usual warm-up, name the quality you want to practise: patience, consistency, courage, or generosity. Keep the target within your own control.
Give the work your attention
Follow the session appropriate to your experience and ability. Put the feed away. Notice the moment you start chasing comparison, and return to your own next repetition.
Make the room better
Thank the person supporting the session. Encourage the athlete who is struggling. Leave the space ready for the next person.
What did the difficult moment reveal—and what will you practise next time?
